My baby is 5 1/2 weeks old and we just switched her to soy formula yesterday. She has bad gas and fusses a lot. Enfamil Gentlease helped a little for a little while, but her gas got worse again. Doc suggested trying soy. I realize this still may not work (this is the 4th type of formula and I use Dr. Brown bottles and gas drops), but if I am going to see results, how long will it take? Also, are there any negative effects of switching to soy?

Have you ever had one of your teachers at school say that when there is a pep rally during the last 30 minutes of school, she would leave after school but not right away and then she leaves anyway?
That's what just happened to me today. After I get back from the pep rally, She's gone. And she has my bookbag with the homework that I'm supposed to do tonight for Algebra, Locked in the room! So now I can't do my homework and turn it in and get a good grade on it. (Just so you didn't notice, this is something that I am not happy with) So now I have to wait until monday because tomorrow is a progressive teacher planning day for Hillsborough County, Florida schools. Does anyone have any tips on how to get over this Frustration? Please be serious.

I was talking to this girl getting along perfectly and every thing looking good. Got some arguments and she was in total control and started ignoring me at the same time saying I want this to work…changing her mind every third day at the end I this is it….. I am Bi-Polar and have taken Prozac, Paxil, Lithium, Depakote, Wellbutrin, Topamax and now am on 75 mg. of Effexor a day. I have went from 135 to 235 in the past few years due to these meds. I had weight loss Lap Band surgery in June and have only lost 20 lbs. I only eat 900 - 1200 calories a day and exercise regularly and drink lots of water. I haven't lost weight in about a month now. I don't know what to do at this point! Help!!!!

I mean like 1st foods are what month and 2nd foods...etc. my son is six months and he eats the gerber rice, oatmeal, juices, water, and all the first foods and vegtables, along with his enfamil lipil with iron. i am just lost on the veggie and fruit progression.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with St. Johns Wort? I believe I am suffering from mild depression, and I wanted to try an Herbal Remedy first. A friend of mine that is an RN suggested St Johns Wort, since I am not currently on any other medications. She believes this is a viable alternative to anti-depressants for me. I have done the web research (pro’s and con’s). I am now interested in any personnel experiences with the herb. Why did you start taking it? When did you start to see results? Thank You.

I am exploring Polk Audio RM40 system, KEF KHT 5005 5.1 HTB and Cambridge Soundworks Entertainer Theater Systems.
I do not live in the areas where I can go try these systems out. Tweeter, Circuit City don't carry these models.
If anyone has it, looking for information about what you like and dislike about it. If you were do it again, what would you buy.
Money is no object for one of the 3 systems. Simply looking for better system to use with 50" plasma TV.

Last Friday was our 16th Wedding Anniversary. It was a busy day so clearly we would not be 'doing' anything on that day. However not a single word of acknowledgement in any form, not even a hug or 'I love you', nothing. I patiently waited, then left him a note of acknowledgement to 'our' day. Next morning, first thing out of his month is a complaint of self, then things for the day, finally cause I wasn't responding it was...oh happy anniversary. We had a very busy weekend, so I left it at that and waited till Monday evening to address it. Which also gave him an opportunity to make up for it (he had windows of time to of done 'something') - still nothing. So Monday, I address it, and stated that our marriage is of priority and that I was hurt he didn't have it in his heart to acknowledge it. His response was that I was over reacting and was providing the usually excuses. This isn't the first time. So, he's on the floor and is pissed at me! What should of I had done??
