I am Bi-Polar and have taken Prozac, Paxil, Lithium, Depakote, Wellbutrin, Topamax and now am on 75 mg. of Effexor a day. I have went from 135 to 235 in the past few years due to these meds. I had weight loss Lap Band surgery in June and have only lost 20 lbs. I only eat 900 - 1200 calories a day and exercise regularly and drink lots of water. I haven't lost weight in about a month now. I don't know what to do at this point! Help!!!!

You may need to reevaluate your diet. Even though you've restricted calories, they may not be the "best" calories. Cut out high fats and sugars and go easy on animal products.

i was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder and I was on paxil and wellbutrin for about 3 years and went from 125lbs to 155lbs.
I tried the low carb thing and I lost 20 lbs. I finally got off the drugs.
I have valium now just in case I have an attack or something. Just keep eating regular and walk alot. The weight will come off.

You may have just hit a plateau. If that is so, then just keep on with what you're doing & pretty soon the weight will start dropping some more. You may hit several plateaus on your way back down to your desired weight. If you keep up with things & still don't lose weight then ask your Dr. to check your thyroid function. Sometimes(rarely), someone will develop thyroid disease & not realize it because there isn't any pain.

Maybe your band isn't tight enough. It might be time for a fill.
