Joe and Wanda had a small apartment in the city and they decided that the only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie with their ten-year-old son in the apartment was to send him out on the balcony and order him to report on all the neighbourhood activities.

To a young boy, they thought, spying would be a lot of fun and would distract him for an hour or so.

The boy began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation.

"There's a car being towed from the parking lot," he said.

"An ambulance just drove by."

A few moments passed.

"Looks like the Andersons have company," he called out.

"Matt's riding a new bike and the Coopers are making whoopie."

Mom and Dad shot up in bed. "How do you know that?" the startled father asked.

"Their kid is standing out on the balcony too," his son replied.

Even when they hurt bad I keep doing it. I'll stop, but then I'll start thinking about something else and I'll start picking at my hands and fingers again without knowing it. It makes me so frusterated.

Hi, I'm a new esl teacher, and I work for a brand new school with no textbooks or curriculum for ESL. The students I teach seem native speakers, but they have weaknesses in writing and spelling, as well as grammar and punctuation concepts. What is a good approach to teaching them? Also, keep in mind, I don't have books, and might not get any for a while. I'm also open to book suggestions for next year. thanks!:)

me and my guy were making love and he had a condom on but as soon and he was taking it off i saw *** stain on his jeans a little bit lower than his zipper??? since i thought that i might be pregnate i took a pregnancy test at 8: sumn pm but we made love at 3:30 pm should i be alarmed??

No need to get nasty with me and flame me, call me names and blah blah blah...I am asking this primarily about my kids and my situation. I have two mixed kids of my own, and nearly everywhere I go, someone annoys the life out of me going on and on about how beautiful their eyes are, or their hair is so "good", and how their skin is so exotic colored...etc, etc and then when people see me (black) and my husband (white) they always compare features and the compliments are always based on my kids being mixed, not their individual attributes as human beings. It makes me upset.

I see it happen with other mixed kids too. It's usually black people or persons of other cultures that tend to ramble on and on, but I've gotten this deal from some of everybody. Even the nurse that delivered my baby girl. What is the fascination? Yes, I agree my kids are beautiful, but they are not the avatar of Buddha or anything. What can I kindly say weird situations like these without sounding rude?

My boyfriend and I just broke up after about 5 years, and I have two boys from a previous marrage (6&7) and he just moved out. I guess we just wanted differnt things, me..a family and a father figure for the kids..him, a chance to be young and not be tied down.

there is no point to the letter c. The letters s and k can do the exact same things. There's just no point to it. Can someone give me one good reason to why we need it in the alphabet?

At the end of "History Of The World Part I," Brooks showed previews for "History Of The World Part II." As we know, there was no sequel to the first one. What I was wondering was whether he had planned to make a sequel, or if these were just thrown in at the end of the first one.
