here ya go.... you dont hsve to have cream of tarter at all!!!!smile...I added some more fun kids recipes.....enjoy


Uncooked Playdough (salt and flour)
1/4 cup salt
1 cup flour
1/4 cup water
Have your child mix the flour and salt in a bowl then add water. Knead and squeeze the dough to make a clay consistency. You may need to add more water.

Note: Your child will find that this playdough doesn't last as long as the cooked recipes.

Kool-Aid Play Dough
The children will love the smell of this playdough!

2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups boiling water
2 packages unsweetened Kool-Aid
Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Wearing gloves, knead for 10 minutes. Store in zip lock bag in refrigerator.

Note: Your hands may smell of the Kool-Aid flavor even with gloves.

Peanut-Buddy Play Dough (eatable)

3 1/2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
4 cups powdered sugar
4 cups powdered milk
3 1/2 cups corn syrup
Mix ingredients by hand. Share. Can decorate with sprinkles, M&Ms etc.

yummy playdough (eatable)

2 cups of honey
3 cups of peanut butter
3 packets powdered milk
Stir all ingredients together until smooth. Add more powdered milk if desired. Is sticky.


Silly Putty
Ingredients Directions
1 cup white glue Mix glue and starch together
1/2 cup liquid starch Knead until completely mixed and smooth.
food colour if desired Add food colour if desired.
Mixture should be solid, but stretchy
HINT: The longer you knead it, the better it gets.


Flubber Fun

You will need two bowls
In bowl 1 mix
3/4 cup warm water
1 cup white glue
Food coloring

In bowl 2 mix
2 tsp borax
1/2 a cup warm water

Mix bowl 1 well, Mix bowl two well...Now let the magic begin! pour bowl 1 into bowl two...No need to mix just reach on in and grab your flubber..work it for 3 minutes.

Baking powder is a suitable substitute.
