there is no point to the letter c. The letters s and k can do the exact same things. There's just no point to it. Can someone give me one good reason to why we need it in the alphabet?

According to professional "linguists", the c is the embarassment of the English languages when compared to other languages - for the exact reasons you state. We don't need it, but we have it now; kind of like the penny.

I agree, ginormous should not be interior the dictionary... that's slang. even with the undeniable fact that, the letter C has that's objective. The CH sound could be non-existent devoid of it. KH and SH could actually screw that sound up. as an occasion, what in case you substitued the c in chit-chat with an s???? no longer so ideal anymore is it?

How would we spell Clever,or Cleveland, Just would not be the same with a { k or S} It a nice Cluster letter. I think it works best when the second letter is {L }

"C" is more versatile than "K" because you can't make a soft "C" sound with "K." You need the letter "C," for example in a word like "icicle." (But I guess you could spell it "isikle" and get the same effect.) Hmmm...

c is used for a lot of constants and symbols now such as the speed of light and I don't tink "learning your ABD's" would sound good either.
