i had an ex a while back. probably about a yr ago. when we broke up it was because i was going crazy and he didnt wanna cause me anymore pain. but leaving me was not what we wanted but it seemed like the only solution. its been a yr and we still /lovelike each other. we hardly talk but when we do(privately) we say we still love each other and say how we miss each other. there hasnt been a single day in the past yr that i havent thought about him and i know its been the same with him.
i want to get back together but he refuses because he says he will hurt me again. he says he doesnt deserve me and hasnt had a gf since me and i know he still cares about me because i see it in the way he looks at me and talks to me. he says he wont start dating again until he "grows up." i understand that he wants to be more mature and i do agree with him.. but i want to be with him now.. am i being selfish? and what do i do? please help.

fundamental particles and elements - nuclear physics and chemistry?

elements are made of proton, electron and nuetron. electron is a fundamental particle. but proton and nuetron are made of three fundaments particles each. (quarks). if we can even divide protons into three different particles, then why does my professor say elements cant be broken any further?

help my neice is 2 and doesnt listen or share?

my niece is 2 years old and doesnt share with my 1 year old, she thinks every toy or object or food is hers, this occurs at my inlaws and also at my house. i know age 2 is a tough age and i can accept that, the problem is that neither her parents or grandparents say anything to her, she will take away from my daughter and it is accepted. i dont want my daughter to be bullied and i dont want the uncomfortableness that goes along with disiplining her myself. why do parents let their children do whatever they want. i dont want any awkwardness between my sis in law and i ( she is a very sensitive person) how do i handle this?
