I don't think trying to use castrol oil is such a good idea. Your doctor will let you know when it's time to induce the correct way in a hospital

Honey, a due date is just an approximation. You might as well throw a dart at a calendar. The baby knows when it's ready to be born, and trying to hurry it is messing with mother nature.

About the castor oil: 3 of my 4 kids were late, and one OB told me that if the child was ready to be born, the castor oil might begin contractions; if the baby wasn't ready, it wouldn't do anything. Let me tell you, it does SOMETHING. A tablespoonful is enough to begin labor if the baby is ready, but if not, all it will do is send you to the bathroom for another kind of movement, if you take my meaning. There is nothing you can do to hurry that child, believe me. Just be patient and let your little guy make the decision! When the time comes, it will be magical!

yes, you mix castor oil, orange juice and a tsp of baking soda. It doesn't always work, but it will clean out your intestines. I've done it with two of my pregnancies, and it only worked with one. If you're not at least 2 weeks past your due date, just chill. Your due date is just an approximate date, and you can have your baby anywhere from 2 weeks before the date to 2 weeks after the date. If your baby stops moving for 24 hours, then get worried.

I don't know about castrol oil and orange juice but when I was pregnant with my first child I got really big and I was uncofortable and my mom said if you want to go in labor tommorrow walk alot tonight and tomorrow morning you will go into labor. So I walk alot that night around the whole town that I lived in and sure enough the next morning I went into labor at 4am in the morning and I was only in labor for 3 hours. My mom says that it helps the baby's head drop in labor position if you walk alot!!

Do not drink castor oil with orange juice, yyyuuccckkk!! The best thing to drink it with is rootbeer soda,it helps dilute the thickness. You really have to drink a full 4 oz.bottle of castor oil at once for it to work. You will be on the toilet alot if you take it so be near a bathroom. It does work though,it did for me 2x.Once you start getting contractions you have to walk thats the only way to keep them progressing otherwise they will stop and you will be on the toilet for no reason. You see how the castor oil helps induce labor is it aggrivates your digestive track by giving you cramps, kind of like a natural laxitive! When your digestive track is bubbling it is rubbing aginst your uterus which stimulates contractions, and extreme bowel movement! I know tat sounds gross but its the truth.I wish you good luck, and please make sure your atleast 38 weeks before you do this, you want to make sure your baby is developed properly( his lungs) Nevermind that last bit your already overdue, sorry. This will not harm your baby in any way. The castor oil will only make you have a bowel movement if you ingest it,your baby is not ingesting it so it will not make your baby bear down and pass miconium. That is false.

howdy. Congratulations on your coming near near toddler. i'm sorry to permit you comprehend that babies arrive at diverse cases and your predicted date of delivery is in basic terms a coarse theory. a classic being pregnant may be something from 38 to 40 two weeks after your era with the main in all probability date occuring around the fortieth week. It would not make the slighest distinction in case you comprehend the best date you conceived or of your era i'm afraid. I definitely have 5 babies, have very standard sessions and to decrease an prolonged tale short on a minimum of two pregnancies had consistent scans and monitoring. None of this made a distinction. My first toddler became born 6 days previous due, my 2d became 2 weeks previous due and had to be led to (that's terrible waiting that long), my 0.33 arrived in basic terms 2 days previous due. My fourth toddler had problems and became born 8 weeks early, my 5th (and final) toddler did not have any problems yet became nonetheless 5 weeks early. So i'm afraid, in factor of certainty extremely toddler will come whenver he/she needs. i'm specific that's not long on your case. stable success.

I don't know about that, but I do know that babies come when they're ready and unless there's a medical reason why your baby needs to be born now (your blood pressure, baby's heartbeat), then let nature take its course. Talk to your midwife or doctor, though, and make sure that she's medically comfortable with you waiting.

A good long walk can often help speed things up a little.

I have 6 kids. 1 of them was 3 weeks late, 4 of them were 2 weeks late and 1 of them was only a week late. They were all healthy.

I'll be praying for you and your precious little one.

It worked for my wife all 3 times. She was late all 3 too! She mixed the full bottle with coke, although I don't think it matters what you drink it with. Just plan to be near a bathroom for at least the next 6 hours. Oh yeah, if you don't keep it down, you have to start all over again. She says that this is no easy feat either. Good luck with everything!

If this is your first, they are normally late.
Your due date is just an estimate because the doctors don't know they exact date of conception...They useually give you anywhere from two weeks before to two week after your due date and consider it on time.
Walk alot, it helps the baby position better and will help for an easier labor...Sex is also supposed to help...
