I didn't think it would be a problem to borrow a book, since we pay taxes to the local public school, but I am getting the run around from them.

I had heard in the past that if you home schooled, you could still take one or two electives at the school building - - actually the counsellor told me that in another state, but the school district here seems to have heard none of this.

(I don't want my daughter to take an elective there at this present time, only to borrow a book, but I thought at least the option was there!)
Does anyone have any light to shed on this subject?

I'm 20, female, and in college. All my friends in college are guys. I swear 90% of them have the wrong idea and think we're going out.

I went out with this guy to a party at his frat, and when I was in the bathroom, I overheard his friends asking him "where is YOUR girl?" He said she's in the bathroom.

I cant run i'm 26 but i had knee damage/injury this year...something like osteoarthritis set in and running makes it hurt( since 2006 February). Yesterday i tried fast walking for long distance and it didn't hurt at all.. but i got a good workout. is this good to keep doing?

Any thoughts on where I can find information on what are acceptable gifts for a husband to buy for another woman?

I don't believe that my husband is cheating on me. He is, however, drawn to buying expensive gifts for people - mostly women. What tipped the scale with me is that he purchased $350 concert tix for the woman who cuts his hair. She's also married.

What floors me is not only the price, but the fact that this woman accepted the gift. I don't know what what to do really.

I had one thought. That is to go to her, ask her to pay for the tix (with my husband present). How is that?

Any thoughts are much appreciated.
