I have to be baptized.... this is not a question to me, nor has it been for as long as I can remember. However, I am having a problem finding a church that will do this without me becoming a member of the church. I know what they say (at the church) that it is an act you do in front of a congregation to affirmate your love and belief in Jesus, The Holy Spirt, and God and that the baptism is for the people of the church as well as the person getting baptized. My thoughts on this are a little different as though I would like to affirm my obedience to God and get baptised but do I have to become a member of something I don't necessarily want to? We pray as a family everyday and learn about God as a family. I would say our faith is strong in God but our faith is not strong in the people who represent him in the church. They are meerly men as you and I and I believe they operate as a business. Please let me know if you know where I can go. Thank you and God Bless the World.

Any financial research i have done has been for investment purposes, i know nothing about reposession.
If anyone has any feedback as to what options (and what's involved when it happens to you) are available, i would be very grateful.
The company who provided the mortgage have handed it over to an estate agents (i have suspicions both companies are linked in some way) who i am presuming will put it to auction. Although i know for a fact this particular estate agent has property interests himself, so he may make an attempt to buy the property cheaply and sell it on at a profit.
The thing is, i am in a position to make sure the property does not go for peanuts by either forcing any auction bidders to go over a certain threshold or forcing this estate agent to buy the property at a higher price than he planned to. I presume the agents need to make public what method they are reselling the property by?
I want to help, not profit from this but can they do anything even at this stage?

how a state can have laws on the books protecting a fetus from intentional, unintentional, neglectful & reckless homicide and or manslaughter, yet concurrently have laws on the books that allow the mother of the fetus to have an abortion? Illinois is the state that I from and we have both fetal protection laws as well as abortion clinics. Any thoughtful answers are greatly appreciated.

This question is reguarding property ownership: On aug 22 of this year my
mothers companion of 31 years passed away suddenly.They had owned a home
together and my mom actually paid for the home with her inheirtance but the
house was put into only her partners name. While they spent many years together
they never legally married and my mom is a cancer patient and terrified she
will lose her home to either the state or a family member on his side.
what are her legal rights? she is of extremely modest means as cancer has
left her on disabilty and 900 a month to live on she
certainly cannot afford an attorney. Thanks for taking the time to read my post :-)

My husband and I have decided to not tell our friends we are pregnat until after our first doc visit. (Which isn't until the end of Nov) and one of my best girl friends is coming to stay with us this weekend. We always go out when we are together, and living in a small town there isn't much else to do. My husband doesn't understand that girls sometimes "just know" Especially one as close as her! I know that she will know!

my 16 year old sister was caught at school kissing another girl. at this point my sister is saying that this is the first time she has done this but my mom has completely over reacted to the situation.
at her high school there are a lot of openly gay students and on her colorguard team there are a lot of lesbian girls and the coach is openly gay. my sister has had her share of boyfriends but obviously she curious about her sexuality which i think is normal but how can i try to make my mom understand that my sister may just be experimenting? this is what high school kids do. they experiment with all kinds of things sex, drugs whatever.
in the end, no matter what my sister decides, i will always love her but my mom is so closed minded, i'm afraid how her negative attitude is going to affect my sister.
i've kissed a girl or two in my time and i'm not gay...it was just something i tried. but what do i do about my mom? and how can i comfort and shield my sister from my mom?
