It would and it wouldn't

Before i begin; what I am about to say applies to any religion and non religion. "If everybody in the world converted to (put a religion here)"
First we will start with the would.

There would be no more fighting over religion. Less wars, less predjudism, ect. ect.

Now for the would not.

Crime rate would dramatically increase as well as depression, suicides, drug use, ect. ect. These things would not be caused by the religion itself; but because most would feel subcontiously empty. In other words deep in there hearts they would know that this religion is not right for them.

See the truth is it's a toss up which do you prefer. World peace or a chance at peace in your own life. You can not have both.

I hope I didn't offend anybody by what I said I am just speaking the truth from what I have seen. (Christians trying to be Wiccan; Athiests trying to be Christian; ect. ect.).

You can only truely be what your heart wants you to be. You can not be anything else; if you try you'll be to busy fighting yourself that you could not truelly be living life.

Islam is a religion of peace. The world would be a more peaceful, harmonious place. Look at what Islam teaches. There would not be drunk drivers killing people in accidents because Islam forbids alcohol. There would not be any drugs on the street killing people. we would not have the problem with all the one parent households because Islam forbids sexual relations outside of marriage, divorce is only in limited circumstances so our divorce rate would go down. Homosexuality is forbidden so the AIDS virus would die out. If Islam were the only religion and its teachings were followed the world would be a heaven on earth.

it depends..

perhaps there will be wars among different islamic sects...shia sunni... etc

and if only one islamic sect survives then perhaps there might be dispute about who shall be the leader... and how things shall be ruled... if a certain population is having less facilities than others then they might raise a revolt...

we never know someday one can declare to be a prophet, some reject him and persecute him and some accept him and war starts...

we never know... but one thing we are sure of, history has proved us that peace is a pause between two wars

The world would be a much better place if everyone realized no religion is necessary. Religions have only one purpose, to empower those who lead the most followers.

It wouldn't. Conformity is NOT beneficial to humanity. The diversity of faiths is truly a sign of God's unyeilding love. Unfortunately, dogmatic war ruins the gifts of God.

Well, if that happened, I guess we would have to strap on the suicide bombs and bomb each other. Wait, they are doing that now.
Women would all be subservient to the male population, not being able to attend any schools, and dressed in the lovely Burka.
Their would be no malls, no juvenile hangouts, and we would all live in the desert.
