If the Universe has a defined border and and were closer to one end than another, would we be able to tell? If we can see out far enough, and thus back into time, enough to see billions of years ago in every section of the sky....are we the center of the Universe?

For days I have been obsessing over this one girl, and today i finally worked up the courage to go talk to her. Homecoming is coming up in 3 days so I thought i should ask her soon. I was talking to her and I asked if anyone had asked her to homecoming yet. and she told me no. then we said our goodbyes and i thought it went pretty well. even though i chickened out and didnt ask her to the dance. After that she told the whole girls team. by the way im on cross country. well my friend, he is a guy told me what they said and she said she didnt want to go with me, so my friend asked her why she doesnt want to go with me, and she said because she isnt sure. Ive tried my hardest to impress her. I dont know if it is working or not. either way im just not sure if i should ask her, and ive got very little time left. Can you help me????

Believers say "you need faith" - boring.

Is a rewritten book with no original to be found - tanslated and perverted, chapters omitted and destroyed - the way a god would reveal itself to humanity?

If our soulds really hinge on believing in Jesus, then why does god not give us a better sign? Why not appear to us the way he "did" for the diciples?

Don't we all deserve a sign direct from god, rather than preachers who sexually assult kids, spread AIDS, etc?

Does this not essentially prove that God did not reveal iteslf through Jesus at all?

CIA JOB OPENING
The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all the
background checks, interviews and testing were done, there
were 3 finalists...2 men and a woman
For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a
large metal door and handed him a gun. "We must know that you
will follow your instructions, no matter what the
circumstances. Inside this room, you will find your wife
sitting in a chair. Kill her!
The man said, "You can't be serious. I could never shoot my
wife."
The agent said, "Then you're not the right man for this
job. Take your wife and go home."
The second man was given the same instructions. He took the
gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five
minutes. Then the man came out with tears in his eyes. "I
tried, but I can't kill my wife."
The agent said, "You don't have what it takes. Take your
wife and go home
Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same

instructions to kill her husband. She took the gun and went

into the room. Shots were heard, one shot after another, eight

in a row. They heard screaming, crashing, and banging on the

walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened

slowly and there stood the woman. She wiped the sweat from her

brow. "This gun is loaded with blanks," she said. "I had to

beat him to death with the chair."


Moral: Never put a woman to the test

It seems so surreal. Can somebody tell me where to go for help after abusive husband drove me out with my now, 8 yr. old, he manipulated events, accused me of every obvious action in order to avoid support payments. My attorney suckered me into believng in her legal expertise, then failed me miserably after only 2 hearings. I requested attorney's withdraw, filed a complaint to disciplinary board and now attorney has responded in anger with report where my words were twisted. I have no money to afford another, asked tor help through my state's 'legal services' but denied. No one will help reverse all the damage done & what attorney will go against another? I'm 20 thousand in debt from this but can't get help anywhere to protect my civil rights because I don't ave a bank roll behind it. Now what? there's time limits for appealing, I don't know what motions, oppositions, etc. are required & have another hearing & trial date scheduled soon. I'm losing hope & tired of the abuse. ??

If they dont believe in absolute truth from the bible, than why are they consciencious about harming others? I there is no God than why not do whatever you want when ever, there is no one watching. If for the benifit of social relationships than why do you still feel guilt when you do something BAD to another? Give me your thoughts and reactions thank you
