We would not be independent. Britain would still rule, probably. What is the declaration of independence, except a psychological demand given by the public society to retribute the freedom of Americans in their own country? I would think not much more. America would not be as a sickening as a country as it is now, because Britain was highly sophisticated beyond belief, and no one in Britain is weird, gay, and stupid like most Americans.

The people that call themseves Americans are for the most part a bunch of spineless imposters, the declaration of independence is nothing but a historical document, because our government for the most part dosen't care about our rights and or opinions;think I'm full of hot air,try enjoying your rights under the second amendment or publicly offend the wrong person in power and see what happens, this topic makes me ashamed that I took the time to serve in our military, thanks alot America

It would be a member of the common wealth. Americans would probably speak with something more closely resembling the queen's English.
