I was adopted so I never "fit in" If I didn't ever try to keep contact I would have been history along time ago. By the way I'm 34 married and have 4 kids, so I guess having something is better than nothing....

Oh my,
I agree with the other poster, they would not even speak to me if I were not family. Opposite as sugar and honey :0)
Other words those you can not get along with are usually those you have much in common (personality wise) to each other. I hate when sister does this, well dear you do the same thing lol! My thoughts of family anyhoo.......

I feel like that about my mother. We never seem to get along.Even when I was growing up I always thought she really didn't like me. Eevn as a adult she never seem to want to be around me. Its like I'm the black sheep in the family. And I know she loves me but there are the times I think she wish I wasn't who I was. But I have a son so I don't forcus about it anymore. I have other things to worry about

don't worry Josh, most families only love each other because they're family and they've spent so much time together and gone through so much that they just love each other. But that's not so bad. Thank God you get to choose which friends you love

All of the time. And it's painful...but sometimes that is just how it is. I've grown to rely a lot more on my friends and girlfriend, however, which makes it somewhat easier. But any problems between my friends or girlfriend and I feel like I've got no one.

yeah, sometimes. Like defenetly when I'm home. They all bother me ! My mom, dad brother, cousin. Next year when my cousins are moving in its gonna be awful. There'll be 4 guys and I'm the only girl. Everyone treats me wierd cause they think I think I'm all that cause I'm 14. Defenetly my girl cousins !

everyone gets that at some point in their life. Hey, you can choose your freinds but you cant choose your family. The older you get the closer you tend to be with them...usually.
