we signed a contract to build a new home, thru a home contractor. We went thru their mortgage company to receive the discounts and warantees, etc. They gave me a price over the phone that we could afford. They sent their opinion letter to ok the building and go on from there. We went to the design center already, and THEN recieved the good faith estimate which is much more than she quoted us in the first place. I told her our debts and that we wanted a no down, no closing cost loan. but in the good faith estimate its about 11,000 for closing costs (we don't have and cannot get) and 200+ a month over what she told us on the phone. What do we do? We cannot afford this home now, and they've already sent the plans to the city... Can we get out of this? Can they sue us if we do?

We got a $100 ikea matress for my son but it doesnt seem very comfortable to me. Hes only 3 so Im wondering if it matters for him since hes so light. Anyone else sleep or put a child on a cheap mattress?

When I was 14 and 15 back in the 1970's, we used to hitchike a lot. I was sexually propositioned by the men who gave me rides, probably on a weekly basis. My reaction was always to say "no." I didn't realize until now that I am actually the victim of an unspeakably horrific crime. I thought I had led a normal life. Now that I've realized the trauma I've been through, I'm going to start drinking and taking hard drugs and eventually commit suicide.

I am a stay-at-home mom and spend the majority of the day playing, singing, reading, and interacting with my son. We have a morning walk & afternoon outside play . However, we run out of things to do by early afternoon. Anyone have any games, ideas or crafts that are suitable for a 17-month -old and his attention span? I let my husband go out with his friends on Saturday night as long as he came home at three am. Since the bars close here at 2 am. Well he didn't come home until four and he is NEVER late. He has always been the best husband I could ever want. It seems to me that whenever he hangs out with this one particular friend he always acts badly. I know this other friend does whatever he wants to and his wife doesn't say anything. I don't know what to do should I prevent my husband from hanging out with this one person? I used to spend a lot of time answering what I believed to be serious questions. A lot of them went to the vote, so I had my doubts whether the answers are even read. I now look up the askers history of questions before I even attempt to answer a question now. Does anyone else do this. In annoys me so much when people have got nothing better to do than waste peoples times with stupid questions. Some are very serious issues, eg, suicide, yet when you look up their history, you find that it couldnt be true. So where are these peoples ethics? Just for those who dont know how to do it.
