This is my first Ramadan as a revert. What day(s) will Eid be on? I'd like to ask for the day off from work.

For Tina: It was my understanding that we are all Muslims at birth, therefore, most people who "convert" say revert as opposed to convert.

The day for Eid depends on the sighting of the new moon (very narrow crescent). If the moon is sighted (by an upstanding Muslim), the following day is Eid. The actual day differs across the world as people sight the moon at different times (i.e. the new moon is not the same "age" each night across the world).
Ramadaan is either 29 or 30 days long, after which the next day is Eid. So you can narrow Eid down to at least 2 days since you already know when Ramadaan started in your area. Hopefully ur boss it understanding, and u can tell him/her that u will be taking either of those days off work, but will only know the day before.
Probably, it will be around 23 Oct.
Also, on the evening that u have broken ur 29th fast, contact an imam or other knowledgeable Muslim in your area, who can tell u whether the moon was sighted.

In California it's October 23rd. The correct term is Convert not revert.
