I know that Pernell Roberts left the show, and what some of his reasons were. But how did they work him out of the series? His fate seems to have been left uncertain, leaving it open for him to return, but he never did.

Dan Blocker later had a heart-attack and died. How was he worked out? Was he supposed to have died in the series?

Ok, This is about Newtons Law. If you sit in a car and drive at a relatively high speed, toss a ball up, and the moment its in the air you bring your car to a immediate standstill. What will happen to the ball ?

I've always been one to knock medical solutions for depression but I'm in my mid 30's now and I'm beginning to think that maybe there is something wrong. I've had a drinking and a dr%g problem for some time now and I really want to be free. I've stayed sober for a year with the help of AA but when the heat turns up, I run to what I know takes the emotional pain away. I'm at a point now where I just want to stop it all, maybe try AA again and consult a doc for some meds. Its either that or I dont think I'm going to make it. All Ive been thinking about for the last few weeks is how to end it which is so crazy that Im thinking about this. I have 2 wonderful girls.. In my mind, I'll down play it like.. what the hell am I thinking right? But still I cant stop thinking about it.. and I feel like Im lying to myself by down playing it, basically ignoring it. I know how much pain Id cause but still, my mind goes on and I want it to stop.

Why do some people have so much trouble fathoming their own potential?

that is, some people have spiritual "gifts"... abilitys, ect. some do not.

why do so many that do not, beliver in religion or not... have *SO* much trouble fathoming that some people might be able to perceive something, and it be totally real, that they are unable to percieve?

I mean I admit it would be kinda scary.... but I would think the potential of understanding would make it worthwhile.

sometimes it feels like I'm a regular guy, walking into a village of natives somewhere totally separated from the rest of the world, that happens to have a village wide, genetic fluke that makes it so *NOBODY* in the village has been born with (functional) eyes for as long as anyone can remember.

I know it'd be hard for them to concive of color... of sight... but would it be SO absolutely impossible to conceive that they'd defy it existing, absolutely, simply because they have no concept of it?
