It is an absolutely fantastic result for Scottish football. the team showed magnificent character and determination to beat France. especially as many pundits have been saying that Scotland are no longer an international side to be taken seriously.
I am English and love to see all the nations (Wales Scotland Ireland N.Ireland and England) play well and win. And I would love to see a tournament similar to the old five nations set up. I know this would cause problems with fixtures and schedules but could you imagine the games that would happen. as a football fan I think it would be amazing!!

Fantastic! Although we were a little lucky, France had the greater possession and better chances to score. I just hope we don't get another Holland situation and get stuffed 6-0 in Paris!!
I am Italian/scottish so the game in March is going to be an interesting game for me.

The performance wasn't magnificent. France dominated the game the whole way through. Scotland only had one chance. They got lucky and took it

I'm an Englishman as well who is hurting still from the Portugal game, still, who also says well done and it's not often I'll say that to other nations. Can't fault the result or the performance against a world class team, and France are still a world class team. clap clap clap.

I am from Holland: It was great! Fantastic! I think the whole world minus France was cheering for the Scottish team.
Cyprus vs Ireland was fun as well...

It just goes to show when a group of so called average players when they all pull together,of what can be achieved.The same group with Bertie Volts in charge were poor to say the least.Walter Smith has organised then and has applied his tactics to overcome the so called best team in the world.

I think its marvellous performance by scotts. But, as they say, "Every dog is like a lion in its terrotiry". They should be able to reproduce such results in future. Only then its a brilliant performance. Otherwise......................you know it !
