Are you kidding me, that goal was scored playing in the American League MLS. Its an insult to say that goal was better than the goal Diego maradona scored against England in the 1986 world cup. You have to take into account the standard of opposition a goal is scored against. Maradona beat 4 world class players in a run that started in his own half against one of the top 6 countries in the world at the time, George best beat a few players who would be lucky to get into a non league team here in England.
How does cocaine improve your performance, it doesn't, simple. Taking cocaine would restrict the performance. George Best probably took just as much drugs as Maradona did (suggested from all the vices he dabbled in i.e. excessive drinking), the only reason he didn't get caught was the lack of stringent drug testing. Maradona is the greatest player ever to live, on or off drugs, and little George Best would be honoured to clean his boots.
