some times it doesn't load at all I dont think it's because of my pc it's only about 2 months old and i have broadband and other games never take half as long to load

Your PC may be only two months old, but it is obviously very low spec. C.S. should load quite quickly on a PC with a decent graphics card and processor.

Yeah It can take a while, have a go of right clicking your game in the Steam list to defreg your files, might help a little bit!
Also try defragging the associated games like HL2, deathmatch, DOD etc.
As well as defragging all your hard disks by right clicking the appropiate drive in "my computer" then properties/tools/defrag. A Scan disk will check for errors too if you get some funny things happening to your pc.
If all your settings are on high try turning them down, as the higher settings will take longer to load than the lower ones.

The game runs fine on my PC - loading takes around 2 mins max if that... I suggest you need to upgrade you RAM (memory) and upgraded grahics cards would help as well. The game isn't a problem so obviously your pc specs aren't able to catter for the game.
