Does anyone know why in older photographs (1920's and 30's) no one is smiling?

for an apartment in the city, would you pay more rent for a slightly smaller unit with lots of light and decent views or would you pay more for a larger interior unit with no view or direct sunlight? There is a lightwell, however, no direct sun shines into the unit. I'd really appreciate your honesty in what matters to you in chosing an apartment.

Religion is bad for the world. So many wars are fought because 2 groups of people don't have the same religious beliefs. Look at the middle east. If the Muslims believed what the Jews believed or vice versa, there'd be no problem. They'd all get along. The sad thing is that each belief system is equally made up. We have people blowing themselves up over imaginary gods. Even WW2's genocide of the Jews is a result of religion. Antisemitism was a result of the Jews not believing in Jesus. Although Hitler was himself not religious, his hatred of Jews came from Christianity.

If we would all just stop clinging to these religious myths and accept science as the only way to truth, the world would be a much better place.

and I always hang out with her at her house doing girl stuff(manicures etc.) (i have a crush on her brother)and well one day I went over there to hang out w/ her and her bro answered the door. IM TRYING TO WIRE A TWO SWITCH WITH ONE SOURCE . ONE SWITCH HAS ONE LIGHT. THE ONE SWITCH(1) AND LIGHT I ALREADY WIRED THE OTHER SWITCH(2) HAS A FAN AND TWO MOTION SENSOR LIGHTS. So I am a cutter and am in a therapy called DBT for it. Part of being in DBT is my therapist has a pager that I can call 24/7 If I feel the urge to cut. I don't every want to pager her, especially if it is after 5pm when she gets out of work) because I feel like I am an inconvenience. I don't ever want to call her after busniess hours. How can I get over this?

He always says it but I'm not sure I ever saw it. And our relationship is long distance, so in order to find out if he really loves me, I asked my friend to hook up with him since i'm so far away, just to see if he would give in to it or if he would completely reject her. My daughter has recently taken a job outside of the home and I am babysitting my grandson. I am running out of things/ideas on what to feed him. He loves veggies so I feed him alot of green beans, carrots and stuff like that, but I don't know what else to buy that makes good finger foods for him to eat.
