Im 22 weeks pregnant with my first child and i am due for my 2nd scan next week. all thoroughout my pregnancy i decided i didnt want 2 know the sex of my baby, but now im unsure! let me know what u think. Do u think its best kept secret untill the big day or find out and be prepared? my partner wants 2 kno and recons he will be able to tell in the scan anyway!

This is my sons report from his cardiologist,I am not sure what the following statements mean. "there is mild aortic stenosis with a maximal velocity of 2.17 meters per second and extimated peak gradient of 18 mmHg & a mean gradient of 6.9 mmHg. There is mild aortic insufficiency, the width of the jet at the level of the valve is actually quite narrow, the jet does fan out iin certain views to the left outflow tract. no flow reversal within aortic arch in diastole. The acsending aorta is dilated. The remainder of the exam in unremarkable. There are no restrictions however very isometric sports will not be suggested as he gets older." Can someone put this into terms for me if you know. THANKS!!!

Who in their right mind decided to either start or make it law that in almost every political advertisement that the canadite(sp) had to say at the end of the message "I approve this message"? Really it gets quite old and boring but I suppose there is a case to be made for the canadites actually approving the messages that are put on the air so that other messages are not mistaken for being linked to a certain canadites views. I just get tired of hearing it because to me its like DUH I know you approve the message!

My 4 yr-old nephew has speech problems but was put on a waiting list for pre-K. I have read a lot of posts saying that the school district would evaluate and provide resouces if necessary. My sis-in-law asked her school district and they said they didn't know what she was talking about and would research it. I was wanting to find some info for her to show them; she doesn't have a computer.

shouldt hate Voodoo or Hoodoo or even diasporic African traditional Religions? I mean We were enslaved and Christianity was forced upon us. We had no choice but to choose jesus at fear of being lynched, Whipped and/or tortued. We had to hide our practices and thats how we have modern day Santeria and/or Voodoo. But all inall this is our culture and our heritage. This worked for our people and continues to work for our people. There was no devil involved. This is not devil worship as Christians will have you believe. YOu are worshiping Yahway and Jesus, these are jeweish/Hebrew names not some universal name. These were the names the hebrews gave their God. While I do respect the jewish God/Gods I also love and respect My African Ones. DOnt preach to me either on here! African Practices and religion was around way b4 Christianity ever was even thought of. YOu came along and spread you superiority complex on your followers!

I'm not cheating on him but he thinks i am, he doesnt believe in being just friends with a man now what if someone calls n if he trys to be very inquisitive he gets insulted i know some of my guy friend who would do that. I hate being tickled, how do I make my husband understand this? I'm really not comfortable being touched other than just a hug, I've been working on making myself endure other "marital" touching (I don't like that either, it's very unpleasant/uncomfortable, but force myself to do it to keep him happy), but when he tickles me it just ruins my ability to trust that my body is safe with him at all. I was misused as a child, and he knows this. I've told him before that I don't like being tickled. I thought he understood, but I guess he doesn't.

I love him madly, and I know he loves me, but it's getting to the point where I almost don't want him to touch me at all, because it's so miserable!

How do I deal with this?

The human race is currently reducing the capability of nature to support our increasing numbers.
Deforestation, soil erosion, ocean bed destruction, pollution, rapid extinction of species, etc.
