Yes! I am very lucky to have had 4 children & gone back to my original size (size 0/1) within 2 weeks to a month after giving birth. I have always been thin with a high metabolism too so I would say you have a pretty good chance of returning to your original size. Everyone is different though, some people have to work really hard to get back to the weight they want to be & some people are lucky like me & it just happens naturally.
Good luck.

I lost all the weight in the first two weeks post-partum, but I only gained 20 lbs. (I'm 5'9''' and started out about 15 lbs overweight). Has a 7lb 15 oz girl, and you figure with the placenta, extra fluid, etc., that's 20 lbs or so. I was all belly
I ate like a horse while pregnant, but this kid sucked it all down. She's got a wicked metabolism, and some women have a higher metabolism during pregnancy as well...And I was very active for a pregnant woman. I worked until 8 months along at a job where I was on my feet nine hours a day, and was walking every day I didn't work..
I am now looking to lose the freshman fifteen put on ten years ago.

I went from 130 to 154 while pregnant. I had my son two months ago and I am now 134. So I have four more pounds to go.
I didnt breastfeed cause he wouldnt take it, but I know that a lot of people say that is the best way to lose your weight. I didn't really do much. I was very active while I was pregnant and I think that helped out a lot. I went to work up until my last month when I was put on bedrest. After labor, I laid around for two days at the hospital and was just ready to go when I got out.
I think what helped the most was that I wasnt having the cravings that I was before, I wasnt eating constantly and I am not sleeping all the time. All of which I was doing while I was pregnant.

I weigh now exactly the same as when I got pregnant. I ate normally while I was pregnant, tried to walk everywhere (although in the last mths it hurt to walk for very long), and still gained approx. 30 lbs. About 9.5 of that was baby though! My little girl is 11 mths old, and perhaps the best thing I've done is continued to breastfeed her. They say that does wonders for losing weight (no diets, no extra exercises) as it burns around 500 extra calories a day. It probably depends on your age, metabolism and how active you are. I'm 29 (so still young) and we dont have a car so am obligated to do a lot of walking.

All these answers are great but I know more people who have kept on 5 to 10 lbs. after baby than lost it all. I have 4 kids and the weight came off different with all of them. My baby is 11 months old now and I could stand to lose 10 more pounds but I also gained 50 pounds if you eat right during pregnancy and after you will be fine

I have 4 children and i know weigh 130 lbs. Just make sure you dont eat all kinds of junk. I am not even a very energenic person but I do chase the kids around alot and eat as healthy as possible.( Not a fanatic about eating healthy either) I think my metabolism does most of the work. well best wishes

I am back to the weight I was before having my baby but my body is no where near the same as it was. I had a c-section so I have a lovely scar and the wonderful "shelf" that comes al ong with that. Your body will never be the same as it was before having kids.
Breastfeeding helps to burn calories, and it's good for the baby obviously. Try walking or running and eating a healthy diet.

I'm actually thinner than I was before I got pregnant. Being perpetually sick during the first three months of my pregnancy made me lose 25 pounds. After that, I gained 30 during the rest of my pregnancy, so at the end I was only 5 pounds heavier than when I started. Breastfeeding made me lose a lot of weight too.

I am still as thin - (27 - 28 inch waist)
I stopped at one kid - had my tubes tied because I didnt want to contribute to human overpopulation
I dont exercise or work out but I am active
when you have kids you have every reason to be active - go for lots of walks, play hide and seek - anything except sitting on the couch...dont make a pig of yourself... eat healthy remember you are setting an example

I've had 4 kids and am the same weight (if not slimmer) than before i had any, it was hard work, i exercised throughout my pregnancies, and started gentle exercises after the births, i then trained 5 days a week and practiced martial arts. so yes it can be done!
