at the end of the relationship i found out i was pregnant we stay with each other on and off till the baby was born then we split up for good he was very violent towards me he has only seen his son once my mum said to me its him or the family and i choose the family the thing is i still love him and cant get over him even though its been 3 years im still finding it hard to get over him any advice????

I recently attended a wedding where the bride and groom had cake and then opened up the gifts in front of everyone at the reception. I thought it took forever and I got restless. Shouldn't the gifts be opened later on your own time or is it appropriate to do it then and there? I'm just wondering bc at my wedding reception I want it to be nice and enjoyable and most deff. not dragging. Thanks for your input!
