I've heard that turning a light bulb on/off uses 20 minutes worth of power up? Is this true?

i.e. If I leave the room for 15 minutes is it actually better to leave the light bulb on?

i broke his heart many months ago... he's forgiven me, but i've never forgiven myself bc i truly love him. so now, he closes up to me whenever we have a conversation. i try to talk to him, but he wont allow a normal conversation go beyond small talk. its so frustrating! he makes an effort to keep in contact with me, yet won't allow what we have to go any further than plain small talk. why does he even bother to keep in contact when he just wants to leave me hanging like that? i know i deserve it, but come on! he knows how bad i feel. its so strange going from being the closest couple who used to share everything eachother... to becoming this, two distant ex's who have something to say but wont allow the other to say it. why does he do this to me? i'm really getting so tired of blaming myself everyday for it. but i keep doing it cause i miss him and know i deserve a second chance.

What I want to know why is my ex getting so jealous, He tells me what I am doing and so on, we do have a 4-year old daughter together and he does see her and when we do see eachother he always asks me who are you talking and what are you doing. He has cheated on my numerous of times and I am done with it. Why would he even care what I do?

Hi. I'm going to be attending USC in southern california beginning the fall 2007. I need to choose a major and am highly considering Political Science? I would love to hear peoples suggestions on this major and whether or not it is a good choice. Also, possibly jobs that a political science major can obtain. I also had creative writing in mind but am leaning on the poli sci side.
