Hi. I'm going to be attending USC in southern california beginning the fall 2007. I need to choose a major and am highly considering Political Science? I would love to hear peoples suggestions on this major and whether or not it is a good choice. Also, possibly jobs that a political science major can obtain. I also had creative writing in mind but am leaning on the poli sci side. I would love to hear from everyone what they are majoring in college right now and also those that have already graduated and where your degree has taken you. Thank you so much.

Poli-sci may get you into the political arena, but it may also, like a friend of mine, get you into vollunteer agencies sending you to africa, thailand, korea. My friendleft for Ghana yesterday, her third out of country placement with an aid agency. When she is home, she attends meetings and writes reports for her local MP on where Canadian charities need to send more agency staff.

I recommend you go for political science. You can become a politician - whether it be in a local government or national.

I got an Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Design (Drafting) this past May from the Oklahoma City Community College. I was able to get an awesome, degree-related summer job! I was able to work at home on my own schedule! Doesn't get any better than that!

I am currently attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I am going for a Bachelor's in Industrial Technology. I want to go into Quality Assurance in Industry some place. But I could get a CEO or President's position with this job!

Best of luck in your studies - no matter what you decide!

My major was English with an emphasis on creative writing. Currently I'm an editor at a research firm, and I'm really just happy I have a job where I get to use the degree, many English majors can't say that.

My Major is in Early Childhood Education and it's the most greatest challenge of my life. I love working with children and hope to some day have my own Early Childcare Facility.

maximum establishments do have some style of commencement value. till the cost is paid, your archives received't get surpassed on to the unit that audits degree awards. also, once you've any monetary responsibilities your organization will regularly refuse to deliver out transcripts -- which in essence skill you do not have any thanks to teach to an employer or all and sundry who needs evidence of a level.
