my parents would make me brush my teeth before the fajr azhan. they implied that its not good to use toothpaste while fasting so i guess if you could avoid it, dont use listerine while fasting but just before and after the daily fasting period.

ramzan mubarak ^.^

I really don't think cleaning your teeth and gums count. Who wants dirty teeth and stinky breath during that time? No one would talk....no is that a bad thing or no? Can I change my answer?

Really it's not counted

Yes, you can, just don't swallow it. It is suggested to use it at night at possible, but there is no reason not to if you spit it out and are useing it to clean your teeth, not wet your mouth when dry.

Yes. As long as you don't swallow it while fasting, you should be okay. Even if you do, it's not intentional and you can still continue your fasting. "El deen yusr, wa laysa 3usr"
