My Significant other's daughter has moved in with her boy freind and now engaged and living together. Even though her daugheter has moved out of the house over 19 months ago, my Significant still continues to be at her daughters beck and call all the time. I have requested her and asked her to leave her alone so that she can lead a lif of her own with her man. But my signicant for reasons unknown continues to baby sit her at all times.
Is there a problem with my Significant ? Will this ever stop ? Will this destroy my life ?. Each time I bring this subject my Significant never bothers to look deep into the problem that she is creatig for herself and to others.
Incidentally my signifiacant is in her mid 50's I am nearing 60's and her daughter is 27 and soon to be son-in-law is in mid 30's. Do all of you feel that Ms.Significant stop baby sitting and nurturing her daughter each and every day?

Met my ex 5 years ago, & married after the third year. We have no kids, & went through a painful divorce that she asked for this July. Recently my ex contacted me again, showing how much she misses me & that she wants back. She talked about wanting to have kids this time, and that she was serious.
We had a few succesful meetings, & apparently things seem to be going well. One day we had an intimate talk, & asked her to tell me anything that she might think i need to know such as if she met someone else since the divorce or such. She talked, but she mentioned nothing about a guy she recently met & proposed to her, & failed only because her parents refused.
My concern is, why would she hide this from me? Why did she lie to me when I specifically asked her? How is it possible for her to meet or love someone in such a short time (2 months) & agree to marry him?
I dont think she deserves my trust anymore, since she lied, & how it was easy for her loving someone else so quick

my cousin has be throwing up after each meal for 4 days now and to me she looks like she has lost over 10 or so pounds??? its it possible to loss 10 pounds in 4 days for throwing up her food?? also she had braces wit it affect her teeth and braces???

I already went to the doctor. She listened to heart and didnt hear anything strange. I took an EKG and the technician said "sort of normal" and mentioned "early beat". I wont get the results from cardiologist until tomorrow. I still have the question. How do I rid myself of this condition???

I was a valedictorian type, in high school, and I set high standards for me, declaring that I would pursue a knowledge base, in English literature. They soon depleted my self-confidence, and I fell into a state of Major Depression and my goal seemed impossible to achieve. I left the university a drop out. I did pursue a module of study in the arts, which rounded out my initial pursuit. After several more years, I pursued additional schooling at the community college level. Transfer credits for what I had done in the university were available to me, and the college awarded me a college diploma. Ought I to be satisfied that I made some headway toward my initial goal, and be happy with myself at that? Is it acceptable to see myself in terms other than of being a drop out, and instead a competent college graduate? My interests in such things as rock music and cyberspace and some counterculture-interests give me a "rebellious drop out" persona. How valid is this?

guys i need your opinions on this too. do you like really skinny girls or not?
today the media puts pressure on all of us to be rail thin, which really isnt fair to people who either dont care or are fine the way they are. but if you look at those really skinny celebrities (think nicole richie) shes like 95 pounds or whatever. do you realize how gross she looks? NOBODY should want to look like that. just skin and bones. but you CAN look good/fit AND skinny without looking gross. you actually can...theres other ways to do that beside puking up your food.
and if you do ask friends you know that are skinny, chances are they probably want to gain weight but cant because theyre just naturally tiny or have a sky high metabolism.
so whats your guys' opinions on this?
