Given that you could sound as good as the person you have paid to see, would you rather be onstage, singing, or would you rather be in the audience listening? Please give at least one reason for your preference.

I guess it's a toss up. sometimes i like to sing and let it all out. may it be aggression pain or love to share my expression with other so that they can feel my passion of it. and sometimes i like to listen so i can absorb what the singer is singing about and maybe even relate in a way that makes me feel better about my situations or makes me feel i can get through things by their inspiration.

Hmm..I like singing a lot, but I'm too shy to go up onstage. So I would just be in the audience listening.

I would rather be onstage, singing, because there is nothing better than to know that people love you and your music, and have the time to come see you perform and know all the words to your songs!

SING!

Because when one sings, one's entire being is involved in communicating to others something that one feels inside. Anyone can listen. Nothing wrong with that, but it is passive. I'd rather be active.

I'd rather sing. I sing all the time as it is - I even sing along to the muzak in stores! If I'm listening to someone else sing I'm singing along. Even if you can't hear me, I'm singing.... but sometimes it's inside my head.

I'd rather listen because I wouldn't have the guts to go up and perform. I'd probably faint.
