careing and loving daughter and every time i come to spend time with her dauther her mom gets jeolous of me because her daugther brags to her mother about how much fun she had her mom is a sagataruis she does not go to work but takes money from her boyfriend i really cared about her daughter but why would her mom show anger towards me being with her daughter? what should i do her mom hung the phone up on me because i told her jthat her own daughter said that you are jelous of me! i was hurt about the disrepect! why owuld she treat me like thta i am a leo the lion i do not deserve this type of treatment! do u think that god will punish her one day for treating me lke i am a bad person when really i am a sweet person! i cared about her mom but soon as she started treating me bad beacause i care about her own daughter!

I am newly re-accepting God as my Saviour. I have just begun reading my Bible and I'm wondering if the bad things that happen is the devil or is it God trying to bring us closer to Him? Like for instance a car wreck that takes someones life, or a shooting at a school that leaves a 16 yr old girl dead. Or when someone commites suicide. I really needs help with this.

I'm working on a research paper and my topic is basically "do we define what we "know" by being justified by some other person or object telling us we are "right", like for example I could point to a "cat" but I'd only BELIEVE I was seeing a "cat" by someone ELSE agreeing it's a "cat", or by our own mind's "born wisdom", so that we just "know" without being justified", like for example how people just are supposed to "know" the difference between right and wrong. Do we come up with these concepts on our OWN, or are they learned from external sources? ..so, my question is what would be an "internal" justification, and what would be an "external" example of epistemic justification? And how would I go about proving one side is better than the other, as far as philosophers who believed one side or the other? I have to be able to defend my arguement either for or against internal or external.

I have a friend--actually we'll call him an aquaintance more than a friend--who is really ugly. In the past I've told him that he's got a face like:

- a bee keeper's apprentice
- a welder's bench

...and various other things. Whilst I'm sure he'd prefer I didn't, he's never seemed to get that miffed.

This morning I told him that his best hope of ever having a social life would be to befriend the blind, refrain from letting them touch his face, and come up with a good excuse to explain the screams that follow him around.

Now he's not talking to me. What do you think has prompted this change in behaviour? Do you agree that he's being a bit prissy?

My very close friend recently discovered that her husband of 9 years (together 13 years), has been having an affair with an ex girlfriend. She found the ex's number on his phone at 3:20 a.m. and called back the next day and heard his ex's name on the voicemail. The ex finally answered after about a week of dodging her and told her everything. How they neve stopped seeing eachother from 13 years ago. They may have a 7 year old daughter together. Actually the ex has been with her own husband for 12 years and he has no clue that their daughter may not be his. The ex says that she still loves my friend's husband and she finds it heard to stay away from him. Meanwhile my friend's husband is taking this to the grave with him and he won't admit anything! not even knowing how his ex got his number. He tells my friend that the ex is must be crazy. We both know that his ex is not lying because she know too many details about their life, homes, events etc. What should she do? She has 3 small kid

I have been having rectal bleeding for over a couple years now. But within the past week it has gotten worse with extreme stomach pain and bloating. When I do go the bathroom the blood is so severe that i stay in bed all day . The doctors I have seen say there is nothing wrong but I don't believe them. I'm worried I may have internal bleeding of some sort. Any feed back would be nice please.
