I am newly re-accepting God as my Saviour. I have just begun reading my Bible and I'm wondering if the bad things that happen is the devil or is it God trying to bring us closer to Him? Like for instance a car wreck that takes someones life, or a shooting at a school that leaves a 16 yr old girl dead. Or when someone commites suicide. I really needs help with this.

You will find a lot of answers for this question in the Bible.
You can look at Job's experience or just read through the Psalms...
but again, there are so many that would answer this q in the Bible..

"Why does God enable particular issues happen?" What are the probabilities? a million. God isn't all-effectual and for this reason can not forestall many undesirable issues from occurring. 2. God isn't all-loving and for this reason would not continually care that this stuff happen. 3. God isn't all-understanding and for this reason can not are expecting those activities so he's often as taken aback as we are. 4. God has a plan and one way or the different each and each of the discomfort, injustice, and imperfection we locate one way or the different suits into that plan. it would look to me that if 4 is the reply then God would no longer be all-effectual, and so on. - those only being nonsensical ideas that theologians got here up with so God would not be offended with them for no longer praising him intense sufficient. In Exodus 3:14 Moses asks the being he's taking to be God what his call is. the classic answer is that he suggested "i'm that i'm" - this variety of lends to this theory of a static, all-(fill in inspite of you want) type of "i'm" God that by no skill ameliorations, yet only type of is, perpetually and ever. the very reality although is that the verb contained in the unique Hebrew of Exodus 3:14 is contained in the destiny annoying ("i'm" somewhat demands the triumphing annoying verb). contained in the footnotes of the NIV translation they offer yet another translation of "i'd be what i'd be" which makes some experience to me. possibly God isn't some static "i'm" yet is transforming into what he chooses to change into and the imperfect international we see is a manifestation of that transforming into? perchance if God lives in all persons, a conception that some have, then there is no suffering that anybody reviews that God isn't there, perfect alongside with them, experiencing that suffering and discomfort too? So possibly God isn't a hypocrite - he by no skill asks anybody to experience something that he does no longer also experience? lwk

Sometimes the devil is responsible for these kind of events. But no one takes notice to the fact that no one helps to better things like this. We all need prayer but not alot of people pray for those who are in trouble now. Not alot of people take time out of their lives to help those in need.
Sometimes, i do think that it's the hand of God. Even though some do not like to admit it, i think that God is trying to send us a message through these kind of events. It's sad to admit but sometimes he might have to do these horrible things because we do not listen to the simple messages that he's been trying to send.
Everything that happens affects who i am. I always look at life in a different way and i always try to help everyone see that if you do not finish the race with someone by your side, then this whole time you were running alone and that's NOT how it should be. Everyone is in need of some kind of help!

To know God, is to know that God offers us tests, and lessons in life. When we know God we know that the only Truth is that of our Soul - our soul is the only reality. Anything that happens in the physical is an illusion, it is not real and does not exist. The Devil does not make bad things happen. People disconnected to the Source of God within themselves make bad things happen. Suicide is a tragedy, again that happens when people turn from faith, & knowelege of the God force within themselves.
Any crisis can be resolved or healed when we allow GOd into out hearts, minds & beings. When we open up to the lesson at hand we join God in consciousness we have understaning and peace about lifes troubles & tradegies.

Accidents are a part of life. They will happen. As far as cancer and other dieases look at what we do to the crops that we grow. They are treated with pestisides that are supposed to be safe. The soil is contaminated, water is polluted, and look at the things we put into our bodies everyday. God does not do it to us, we do it to ourselves. Glad you are going to be studying the Bible, and if I may make a suggestion, get a Strongs Concorrdance to help you. It takes the words of the bible back to the origional languages so you may understand what you are reading. (Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic)

I think as long as your questioning God it will be harder on you. Alot of times in life we look for the answer and never find it out. He has a reason and simply accepting that makes my life much easier. In the moment of crisis everything seems so wrong, but knowing that God has a purpose behind the action makes me know it will be okay.

God is our Divine Protector, He is the one that keeps us safe from all danger and all destruction.

As for when someone commits suicide, that's not of God at all. God will not encourage some-one to take their own lives. There is no forgiveness for suicide and blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

As for when some-one dies in a accident. (ask your self if that person was lined up with God's will.) We are covered by the Blood of Jesus and we should ask for God covering every-day.

I don't have all the answers but God does and I know He is a wonderful healer, if we just seek his word and apply it to our lives.

He does allow trials and we get strength from that but He originally wanted not all this but peace free living. Adam opened a can of worms when he sinned....now everything is different and he said Eve would have pain and we would struggle for food THEY SHOULDVE LISTENED to God!! illnesses happen Noones fault Everyone should convert if they want to live again..

Read Karma theory...god has nothing to do with the bad deeds of ours, for which we re-pay.

There is no book. no religion, no person on earth which holds the absolute truth
