what im asking is,when i was younger i went to alot of concerts, and it was a good time from the parking lots to the show on stage,i have not been to a concert in a few years, but i hear its hjust the band on stage singing,i am wonddering if any bands put elabrate shows pink floyd used to do,those where well worht the ticket prices, and my second question is what happened to music,it is all the same, and no heart or soul, all rap and hip hop is pre-recorded music or sampling, the other music scene is all fast playing and no good long jams with meaning or soul, todays music seems just to make a fast buck and no crowd pleasing maybe im missing something, and whats with the drones,i mean kids today looking the same,dress,hair,acting....is their no free thinkers anymre?

I keep hearing/reading about MIL's who are inviting themselves and/or expecting to be IN the delivery room when their grandchildren are born. What is up with that? I know not everyone is lucky enough to get great in-laws, but being pregnant myself, this subject just baffles me. I know it's the miracle of birth and all, and grandparents can get excited, but around that baby is a LOT of personal info that not everyone needs to know. Miracle of birth or not, that just seems like TOO much information to have about your DIL. What are they thinking?

One thing for me was to get a peek at how devastating sin and our sinful nature has utterly corrupted mankind. I don't think we really understand how filthy and vulgar we appear before a righteous God.
I mean, we tend to fit punishment to the crime. When I considered that Adam and Eve's disobedience to God - by simply eating what they were told not to eat - condemned not only themselves, but all mankind to death in a cursed world, I am humbled. We took a very good creation from God and made it insignificant, justly deserving eternal hoplessness and torment apart from God in the lake of fire.
When I think of this, I can only guess how much God hates sin. I also can only glimpse how much He loves us. From this, and seeing the sin in my life and the world, the profound gratitude for what Jesus did for me becomes increasingly real.
How about you?
