Yes. and people who make satement like "well...I can't --um--I mean I can't comment--let me, well I can't comment on that speech, since I haven't seen it yet" are usually liars as well.
And people who close their eyes are usually the ones who support men who make statements like the one I quote here.

If people really LISTENED to our leaders we would not be in the state we are presently......Communication such as Listening is not just auditory....its visual and empathic as well. We may not understand how to use these senses all together but if one is conscious next time you just might see the body language speaking to you or sense their disruptive energy. Look at GWB he is always moving around when speaking.......and those snith smirks he always gives........whats that all about...I think I know

Or very insecure. Shy people avoid eye contact and sometimes cover their eyes via shades or hats to avoid intamacy with anyone via the eyes.

Very true with this observation. The police use this in their interrogation techniques, maybe Bush also uses it while illegally torturing his prisoners too.

I find people who don't make direct eye contact at all are lying. I think they are afraid you will see the truth if you look into their eyes.
