My intention is not to offend anyone. I'm planning a wedding and through research, I've come across a lot of beautiful weddings for Indian brides living in the United States.

It seems that traditionally, Indian weddings have LOTS of guests! I couldn't imagine knowing so many people so I'm just wondering...

Is it traditional?
How do you know all of those people?
Do you invite only close friends and family or do you open your wedding to associates and acquaintances since it's a big event?
How do you afford such extravagance? Do Indian families traditionally save up for their children's wedding from a young age?

Thanks in advance for the info! I'm so interested in understanding this tradition! I absolutely love the pictures I've seen of these weddings and wish that I could afford to have one just like it... and that I knew as many people to celebrate with me :-)

Having self-taught myself about html, c, c++, and basic graphic design, I'm looking to stretch my wings farther. I've got experience doing quite a few websites for friends and local organizations. I've designed and built two mud games (one from the ground up using SocketMud - barebones code).

I'm hoping to learn more about 3d graphics and visual game design. I can't afford to go back to school for another year or two. In the mean time, if I could get a little self-taught learning in and maybe even build up a portfolio it would help.

Any advice on what programs I should download or websites I can read up about game design, graphical game programming ect?

My goal is long term weight loss. I work out from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Should I eat dinner immediately after or should I wait an hour or so before eating? I've heard conflicting responses and I'm not sure which is right. Does it even matter?

Hello there everyone im trying to learn more about computers. i want to buy a new laptop and am trying to figure out if someone can explain to me the difference between Celeron, Pentium, Athalon, and Duron. I have no idea what the differences in them is. I just know when i bought my 1st one 2 years ago i thought Pentium was the best cause i had heard from someone (who knew nothing about computers) that its the fastest, now is that true?? i dont know thats why im hoping you guys can help me understand the differences between them.

Also another thing what is Centrino>>? i heard something about it dealing with wireless netwoking but im not sure so if someone can explain theat to me also that would be AWSOME!!

I am not trying to be nasty or anything, but I have always been curious as to what the official word is on religion and masterbation. I am most interested in christianity, but any info. on other religions is appreciated. I would think that logically it would be incouraged to keep single people form adultery, but knowing how backwards religion can get sometimes that is not always the case. I know that no sugar added products are not low in fat but, for example, I used to buy Edy's fat free no sugar added ice cream but it had more calories than the breyers no sugar added ice cream I'm buying right now....I know that every gram of fat has more calories than a carb gram but ahould I fouse more on reducing my sugar intake than my fat intake? I've been on a low fat diet since January and I'm struggling to lose more weight now, and I wonder if it's because I don't have a balance and have a very low fat diet but normal sugar diet.
