Check with your doctor immediately. That itch might actually be an allergic reaction to that type of medicine! If you have to wait for an appointment go to www.webmd.com or GOOGLE the medicine for known side effects.

Against doctors advice - I had to quit my blood thinners - I was scratching holes in my arms and chest ... pulling gobs of hair out of my head it itched so bad. I started taking around a teaspoon of tumeric - 3 times a day (around 4 veggy caps is a teaspoonful) and I have not been on thinners for over 4 years now.

I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO QUIT YOUR MEDICATIONS ... NO WAY - DON'T THINK THAT AT ALL ... I only told you what I did and now my itching stopped.

I also heard that ADULT STEM CELLS have helped many with heart problems and/or etc. The stem cells from adult bone marrow has been discovered to be as great as what the MADD SCIENTISTS AND DOCTORS are trying to get from killing babies ...

And we all produce enough stem cells to completely bring us to optimum health with amazing speed from what I have seen. You should watch the videos and ask your doctor what he thinks about it, check out the source of my ramblings;
