Anyone who has ever gone blackberry picking in the South, has ugly tales to tell about chiggar infestations. My question is this: is there something someone can consume to prevent these critters from attacking in the first place? I know it you take B1 - 500 mg. per day, the mosquitos won't bother you, but chiggars are a real nuisance if you spend any amount of time in the woods. Calamine lotion is great for the itching after the fact, but I want to know how to prevent these guys from biting me in the first place. Got any old timey remedies out there??

We have to drive miles and the wife of this friend is loud and obnoxious. I don't enjoy these visits and they're always drinking. I'm an alcoholic and this makes me want to get blotto. He sulks or worse if I don't hide my feelings.

Why do people belive in something blindly? Just because everyone around you believes in 1 thing... so you do too? I dont understand why people dont realize that there has never been any proof of ANY religion, but you still belive in them? even though they all contradict eachother and where you are BORN DETERMINES YOUR RELIGION. its very rare that someone will venture from their culture to join another religion. WHY ARE YOU ALL BLIND AND DONT CARE?

But in all honesty dont they say that phrase because theyre jealous of what they dont have. Even when blacks were still slaves werent the others blacks jealous because they werent living in the warm houses of the white and eating better food.
