Yes of course, without a doubt!! As with all extreme sports, testing cars, and trying to break world records, it carries a risk. The persons involved know this, but they carry on doing it because they are passionate about what they do. Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson are no exception. Long may Top Gear continue!!

Of course the show could continue, it's funny and informative. However I have also heard that Richmond Hammond's accident could of not been prevented, as the tyre blew out at 280mph, and not even Colin Fallows (the person who built the Vampire), would of controlled it. Also Colin trained Richard to drive the Vampire, and was satisified that he could of drive the car safely.

I think it should - it is very sad what has happened to Richard Hammond, but he knew the risks. We all take risks in our lives, some more than others. Top Gear is an entertaining programme, and I wouldn't want to see it end!

I like Top Gear but they have started doing stupid things like racing aeroplanes or helicopters round the test track, I mean, who cares which is faster.
I think they should stick to cars with proper engines that power the wheels and leave jet cars alone. It's more of a wingless plane than a car anyway.
I do like the crazy car challenges, don't get me wrong and Hamster racing that Porsche down a mountain was cool even though he did crash it afterwards, but jet cars!!!!
It is Top Gear not Top Gun after all.

Yes. Richard Hammond knew the risks of what he was doing. I bet he wouldn't want to show to stop.

Top gear is about the only quality program worth watching at the moment. Whose feelings would we be saving by taking it off T.V? not the hamster as even if it had killed him he would still have wanted the program to continue. I am not that much interested in cars themselves but Top Gear is unmissable viewing. Please save the Program.

of course the show show should continue. the only comment to make is that richard has 2 kids to think of now, and should give projects like this more consideration at his age,

michael shumacher is pulling out, only due to his family.

as we all get older we loose the edge, leave the record breaking attempt the the young.

ps, well done to all of us who donated money the air ambulance service. 60k last time i heard, well done everyone, and come back soon richard.

regards pete.

Yes, if you let things affect the rest of the people no-one would do anything! Anyway I think Richard and the rest of the team would be upset if it ended and it would be an end of an era!
