Determined terrorists, with very meagre resources, could easily attack shopping malls, streetside cafes, buses, sporting events, movie theatres ... any number of soft and unprotected targets.
Attacks by Palestinians in Israel over the years, I think, provide more examples than we really need.
Or ...they could just as easily use guns, so readily available here, if they wished - no fancy bomb-making skills or materials required! Just hose 'em down.
But ... there have been no such 'easy' attacks in America, either before or after 9/11.
How can there be a real 'threat' in the COMPLETE absence of such aggressive activity?
Why do so many Americans still believe in a 'terrorist threat', when there have been no such terrorist attacks on America?
What does this say about us? In the aggregate, are we really just a bunch of irrational xenophobic cowards? Or ...is the "War on Terror" really a "War on Truth"?
