no, there must be a parent there and the juvenile Miranda rights must be read in front of the parent or guardian and minor. however if the minor decides to start talking with out provocation then they can use it.

I don't know of any state where that is allowed unless the child signs a waiver acknowledging that he/she was given the opportunity to have a parent, attorney or advocate present and has chosen not to exercise that right.

Yes, they can. The statement can be present in court too, but how reliable is up to the Judge to decide.

In short: yes they can.

Minors do not know their rights, and will sing like a canary.

It becomes legally binding and will be used against you in court.
Also often (as in shoplifting cases) they will ask you to sign a confession of guilt.

If you know your rights, then you keep your mouth shut and don't sign anything!

NO, but the pigs may trick him into it, even harass him. Sign off your Miranda waivers, and then brush off the cop by requesting that a lawyer be present too
