I've been selected to serve on the military ball committee and our goal this year is to draw in about 800-1000 people. The problem is that most of the time only officers and retired officers ever show up to the military ball. Besides lowering ticket costs for the lower enlisted, which we are already working on, what else would make it appealing to the vast bulk of the Army that is the lower enlisted?
PS I already tried suggesting an under the sea theme, it didnt fly with the General.

a musical?/biography of Alberta Hunter...love her voice..I remember hearing her singing when she returned to sing on stage live in 1977 at the age of 81..I had no idea she was a lesbian(OMG--can they sing?????*)..but looks like she had a fascinating life...has anyone seen this show...any reviews??

In terms of best example of his work. I just saw a director's cut of "Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid" and it was such a spectacular movie.

Coming from the same source, the expectations would be that the Chesapeake and New England regions would emerge alike. Geography, unfarmiliar resources, economy, and social differences would prove against that theory.

There could be........and today i went to pics on google and put The End of The World and i kept on going on the pages and it said "God's Cristmas Presant to The World"
It showed a huge asteroid hitting earth 1/4 of earth............and a missletoe on top of the asteroid...........but telling you the end of the world could be now or tomorrow could give a point such as No matter what happens you need to make things last........am i right?

Ok- I am 16 years old; and i am a highschool student. I go to school at 7am, and get out of school at 3pm. I work as a receptionist in an urgent care center from 4pm to 12am on weekdays; and then on the weekends I waitress in a hotel resort- sometimes i help clean rooms or do other odd jobs. I am sooo busy with work and trying to keep up with school, and i think i am getting overwhelmed. I hardly have time to sleep and i end up missing out on social events. I cant just quit- because i have alot of financial obligations already. I have to make car payments, i am sponsoring a child in egypt, and my mother was single while i was growing up and she never had time to set aside a college fund for me-now i have to make that up by the end of next year. There are just so many other things that i have to pay for quitting is just not an option. I was really sick today; and i was worried about missing so much and i just got to thinking- Is it normal to feel this stressed allllllll the time?!?!

i have been friends with this guy in my class. we used to talk about everything, from the war in iraq, to some one's hair ribbon. he was a great friend. he asked me out in june, and i said i'd think about it and get back 2 him. the next day, before i had given him my anwser, i got a call from a close friend, she said that "Nick said you and he were going out?" i told her that i wasnt, because we werent, but added that he had asked me. i whent to another friend's play, and all about 5 girls from homeroom were there. they all asked me, and i told them the same .
i never got to talk to him about it. When i did he didn't seem mad, just confused. Now we're back in school. the entire grade knows about it, and i just want it back to normal.
i havn't had a full conversation with him since i asked him about it.
DOES HE HATE ME? Will he ever be back to being my friend?
