I bought a collection with my first pay packet, can't remember any of the others only one...which was

David Bowie - The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Satrdust and The Spiders From Mars.
It was 1986 - so I was a bit behind time, but had only just discovered Bowie a few months previous.

The first album I ever bought was IRON MAIDEN - THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST on cassette . It brought me all kinds of trouble as a spotty teenager, as my old man was convinced that the satanists would take control of his son. My mother on the other hand was very amused as she tried to explain to my father that I had been listening to Queen for years and that on this basis I might turn out gay . Im not gay but Oh the times we had!!!!
