Does he hate me?
i have been friends with this guy in my class. we used to talk about everything, from the war in iraq, to some one's hair ribbon. he was a great friend. he asked me out in june, and i said i'd think about it and get back 2 him. the next day, before i had given him my anwser, i got a call from a close friend, she said that "Nick said you and he were going out?" i told her that i wasnt, because we werent, but added that he had asked me. i whent to another friend's play, and all about 5 girls from homeroom were there. they all asked me, and i told them the same .
i never got to talk to him about it. When i did he didn't seem mad, just confused. Now we're back in school. the entire grade knows about it, and i just want it back to normal.
i havn't had a full conversation with him since i asked him about it.
DOES HE HATE ME? Will he ever be back to being my friend?
we've been friends for seven years, and this rumor has happened before, but we just laughed it off

I don't think he hates you. Maybe he's just a little hurt because you said you guys weren't going out, when infact he would be happier with you agreeing that you guys are going out.

he doesnt hate he is might be a littles hurt cuz he likes and he wants 2 sho it in an emotinal way...hes probabl liked 4 a long time and now he finnally had the guts 2 say he likes u...n if hes cute 2 u then u got game a guy claiming u w/o u even knowin it if u feel the same way den go 4 it follow ur heart

Tough situation. No, he doesn't hate you, he hates his pride right now. He feels like everyone know about it and everyone knows that he go dissed. You still want to be friends but the difficult part is that once you know someone has feelings for you and you tell them that you do not return the feelings, they feel rejected. try just talking to him again like old buddies and tell him that you are really glad you are friends. It will take some time but I'm sure that he will come around eventually.

Give each other a big bear hug and shake it off....and just ask him if he still wants to be friends with you...and explain to him that you didn't like the way it was being spread around when you didn't even give him a clear answer, yet.

Just give him time, if you have been friends for several years something like this won't hurt your friendship, besides this rumor has happened B4 and laughed it off it will be no different now.
