What if it rains? My husband and I smoked up till 4 years ago when we had children. The couple coming over is my Mom and Step-Father...Usually it isn't a problem but it might rain today and we don't have anywhere protected from the rain for my Step-Father to smoke his cigars. Our garage opens directly into my kitchen so I would rather not open the outer garage door and let him smoke in there. ( I would rather they not smoke where my children might see them smoking at all but that's not realistic)...so what do I do so that they have what they need to smoke but I keep my house smelling clean and smoke free? Is it okay to say, "you have to smoke outside" when it's raining? I guess he could always jump in his truck if the rain were that bad?

It seems that most people are always thinking about buying something new. Whether it be cars, cell phones, expensive jeans, Lacoste shirts, Louis Vuitton bags, Nike sneakers, video games, plasma televisions, sunglasses, etc. Do most people just work to buy all this "stuff"? I heard that Helen was in an assylun and Anne worked there & wanted to help Helen. No other person would try to help her. Anne would say I' m going down to Helens room and the workers thought and said things such as whats the use. Anne would make a point everyday to visit with Helen though Helen would never respond back. Anne would leave a piece of candy or cookie at Helen' s door and after years Anne one day saw a piece of cookie gone Then Anne advised the doctors to begin treatment on Helen. I'm about to have my 2nd of 3 surgeries this year and I'm starting to feel my employer is looking for issues to fire me to release them from paying me disability benefits. Should they conjure up lame excuse to fire me, what is the first step I should take? This is a non-union employer. How often does the "little guy" win against large employers who terminate the veteran employee just to pay less salary to the next guy? Where would one go to view state statutes on employment?
