ok i have to go back to krogers and they told me when they called i could be there for 4 hours doing paper work and training. does it really take 4 hours?

They're saying it could take UP to 4 hours. It doesn't always take that long and it also depends on how many others people there they're training along with you. There's tests and booklets and going over rules and regulations. It COULD take up to 4 hours, or it might only be 2 or so. You just never know so plan for 4 hours...if you're not there that long great!

i never worked at Krogers, but when I started at Target - there was a bunch of us there filling out paperwork, so you had to wait for some to finish etc. Then we got a tour.
It took close to 3-hours.

I think all grocery stores has CBL's, a bunch of short tests you must take being starting work. You don't have to finish them on the first day, you can do some today and some the next day.

It's surely possible. You could be filling out applications, aptitude tests, background checks and if you're also doing some training it could take awhile. Just make the plans in your schedule to do it.'
