JP...A woman president sounds good over a microphone...only problem is, is that a woman is "too" compassionate and will never order an assasination while in office...IDI AMIN would still be milking your compassion while innocent people died behind his "smile and wink"
Women around the world would be "shocked" and "appalled" if a sitting woman U.S. president ordered young men and women into battle....on the other hand it would also be political suicide if she did so...it would be perceived as her "Making a point" on purpose...that she's "tough" enough for all aspects of the job !!!

Our history has been filled by "good " and "bad" presidents. Example: After Lincoln was assassinated, Ulyssess S. Grant filled the vacancy. He was a simple army general who was known as a complete tyrant in his presidency. So we went from one extreme to another.
My worry with today's presidency is that the smart people who should be in office are too smart to want to ruin their lives with the responsiblity of turning our country around.

Lets see, if by some chance (very slim) we get a good president into the white house, what do you think he/she could possibly do to fix the mess Bush and his cronies created that destroyed our Country? I say the chances are slim. My husband wrote a book that is very interesting---I think everyone should read it--Big eye opener

Probably not very likely. You have to do a lot of shady things in order to get that job. I don't know if a good person can even win it any more because you have to sling so much mud and distort your opponent's life and record.
