The countries that are the most religious are also the most violent or ignorant in our world. Consider Western democracy headed by the USA, and as published by the President of the United States of America.

“We are a peaceful nation, a freedom loving nation”

Some people around the world, especially those who have lost their loved ones, could not be faulted for interpreting those words as meaning ...

“You will be free, or else”

It seems to me that the most religious countries are clearly ignorant in the majority, and the most violent. For the record, the population of the USA is 85% religious, and I’m sure you will find that all of the other Holy War countries are just as bad or worse.

I just broke up with my bf and I want a new relationship. I'm not a terrible person just wanting to use the new guy to get over my ex. The thing is, I just want to move on. But it's just too hard.

I came from China a year ago to study as a grad student here. And sometimes I just felt so hard to fit in. My English is not bad, at least better than any Chinese students I know of. But sometimes I don't understand some slang terms and stuff like that. Since I decided to live here for the rest of my life and I like the people here, I want to have an American bf rather than a Chinese one. My ex is also American. But now that we broke up, I found it very hard for me to find another American bf again. So was it just my ex or most American guys just don't like Chinese girls like me?

After reading some of these supposed "questions" on this site, I am beginning to wonder if it still exists, especially among the young. Do people these days sacrifice morality for the sake of what they deem as humor? I am not a prude, I understand sick humor but come on, we have to draw the line somewhere. What do you think?

My friend has a disease, not contagious and it's under control but, she sometimes gets very sick from it. She doesn't want to tell her new boyfriend because she's afraid it will turn him off. He sees her as healthy and vibrant. I think it will eventually come out and he may think she wasn't honest with him. I won't tell him but, what do you think? Should she tell him or not?
