If movies portray real life, then would a white person actually make a dumb move and go investigate what's behind the curtain? But then again, I have heard of some white people walking out in the woods along and getting stung by sting rays. How is that intellectual?

Most people are portrayed as dumb in movies. Lots of people don't like to pay good money to see movies with characters who are smarter than the audience and say things they don't understand.
And by the way, sting rays don't live in the woods.

i never thought scary movies portrayed white ppl as being dumb. but maybe they do.
what i did notice is that the black ppl always seem to die
lol
also theres usually i blak person, a few white girls, and the rest are whit guys
usually 1 white guy and one whit girls are only ones surviving
