It takes about 120 years since you have to drive by foot-powered paddle boat car and you have to fight against the North Pacific surface currents. Bring plenty of water and sunblock. Good luck.

I suppose it would depend on the special features of the car. I read about an Amphibious car that is able to drive at speeds of 100 mph on land, and in excess of 30 mph on water, the Aquada moves between surfaces at the touch of a button - a transition that takes just seconds. So, from Los Angeles to Hawaii is approximately 2,560 miles... at 30 mph...it would take over 85 hours (IF you had some random tanker traveling conveniently along to refuel your car & another driver so you wouldn't get too fatigued). Not so practical.. I'd just fly! :Ã (I hope my math is right)

soon as you find the bridge, let me know. Then I can tell you, but for now, there is know way to drive to Hawaii. Unless you get in a car on a large ship and drive around and around the deck until you reach Hawaii.

You cannot drive to Hawaii. Unless you know about some secret water tunnel.

Hawaii is an Island which means you can only get there by air or water. So you can not drive there, enjoy your flight or cruise.

I just have to share a funny story.......
Picture this. Having lunch at the office... myself, our VP of sales and our receptionist. Discussion is places we'd each love to visit-receptionist has fear of planes, so a lot of places are not an option for her. Ok...there's the scene....now the discussion... oh lord some people....god help them...
I said, "why don't you travel to Alaska? you always said you've love to see it"
Almost simotaneously,
VP of Sales says "you can't drive to Alaska!"
Receptionist with a look of disbelief at MY stupidity says laughingly "you can't drive to Alaska!"
So, imagine my shock. What is the matter with these two i'm thinking. VP has it in his head that it's too damn cold to drive through the ARTIC region, bc that's what it'd take to drive into Alaska. LOL idiot. Just thinking of that still makes me laugh... What turned out to be an argument only ended when I promised to PROVE that it was possible....which I did... anyways...
Now the receptionist-thats where the funny part is.... Get this. You CANNOT DRIVE INTO ALASKA (wait for it.......) BECAUSE it's NEXT TO HAWAII!!!! LOOOL.... Oh god thats still enough to make me laugh hard enough to practically piss in my pants. The ignorance isn't what makes me laugh, it was the sheer insistance that she was right and I was wrong.... Pure stuborn "i'm right, what is wrong with you how could youuuu of all people think you can drive into Alaska???" That was the attitude and I have to say, the absurdity of her instance later had me in tears--I was very sensitive to not outright laugh at the stupidity of the statement then and there... Anyways, she actually made me walkkkkk with her to the map and look. And I swear to god she mumbled under her breath "what the hell...it's always next to hawaii on maps!!!"
And uhhh, for those of you out there who don't quiet get it.... Look at a world map, not one just of the U.S.; where Hawaii and Alaska are often times pictured just off the coast of California inside little boxes!! FYI they arn't actually right there... When I told that story to my 8 year old cousin he laughed so hard he couldn't breath :)

You can't drive there. You can fly or take a cruise to the islands. If you want to drive your car, it has to be shipped over. Or rent a car once on the island of your choice.

Several years - It'll be at least that before someone can or will bother to invent the car that will go under or on top of or above the water.
