I have a 5 week old beautiful baby girl. She is starting to stay awake more often, usually fighting her sleep (lol). She gives a few little smiles here and there, and when she's awake I'm always by her side talking to her and smiling at her, and generally playing with her.

About what generalized age do newborns start interacting more with their parents, laughing, smiling, cooing, etc? I don't want her to grow up too quickly but I'm real excited about her reaching this milestone!

Hi,
I just had to re-install my operating system because of a few viruses I was not able to take care of any other way.
It now appears I have an invalid copy of Windows XP. Whenever I go to the website that supposebly validates it nothing happens. -.-
Any suggestions please?

Im planning to go to Spain this December, but my first destination is UK. What's be a better idea? Should I just get it here in Los Angeles (if possible) or when I arrive in UK, just get the Schengen Visa there?

I am told to do what jesus would do in any given situation. Firstly Jesus wouldnt have a job, a second morgage, or kids in school. Secondly Jesus had God to tell him what to do personally. How am i to know what he would do and how am i to follow such a strict path when i have so many other respondsibilities. If i were to do What Jesus would do i would give up everything and go on the road preaching to the masses. I cant do that so how can i follow that saying?

I mean they have hair down there too ( and men have it on there backs and balls!) But they don't call there stuff, bush or beaver. Now, they are so self concuous of how it looks, they are getting it waxed bald too, trying to imulate our vaginas. Do you think men have vagina and breast envy? Is that why? Or are they so stupid we women should cut them off the supply 'til they start respecting. I did that w/ my boyfriend, He said beaver covers, I didn't even know what he ment. I forced him to tell me or I would cut him off, then he told me and I cut him off for a month!

Ive never seen my birth certificate, but i think that blood tests prove that were brothers. Anyway, my brother looks completely different from me. If you look at all of our old pictures, I look nothing like him when i was in 3rd grade as compared to when he was in third grade. Also, I'm short, fat, somewhat dumb, and loud, while he's tall, slim, smart, and silent. Can anyone explain this?

My wife had an hysterectomy done about 3 years ago, she is 48 years old, one ovary was removed also. No harmones were given as the doctor said one ovary is enough to provide all the estrogens. Recently she has been waking up with headache. Upon checking we found that the diastolic level is btween 90 and 105 in the morning, it goes down to normal of 85 to 90 later in the day after some household activity.

i,ve been with husband since i was 13 yrs old.Hes alot older than i am.We are married with two kids now.He is very old fashion,controlling and never see his faults.I am a stay at home mom,with no friends and have to answer to him every move i make.Being married to him is so boring and i feel like i can't do this no more,sometimes i feel like i stay because of pitty,but most of all i think of my kids.My first child make it so hard for me to leave,because hes close to his father.I am tired of being his slave,he don't make time for me,works all the time,and the little time he has he spent it with his friends when he can be home with his family.Most of the time when hes home early from work,hes always tired.i am distancing myself from him,and looking for attention from another man,can someone please give me some advise,being a young mother and a house with no one to talk to?Thank you very much to all who share there knowledge with me.

i bought my new mazda end of april 2006 and a bit more than a month after, have been having problems with it. when i'm on the break at a red light and it's time to accelerate, the car shuts off and the lights on the dashboard go on. i have been to the dealer 3 times and they told me that there is no code in the car's computer but that it is in fact an internal problem. every time i went they changed a few engine parts (such as anti-pollutant valves, trottle body, and other parts telling me it would solve the problem). the damn car still chokes!!!

im honestly getting fed up cause they cant find the problem and im starting to think that my new car is simply a lemon. has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know what it could be? and what can i do considering i havent even had my car for a year (less than 5000 km) and will practically end up getting a whole new engine by the time the warranty is over?

I have natural hair and I'm interested in wearing it straight, I've invested in a ceramic flat iron and I'm very happy with the results but within a hour my hair reverts back to an afro. Is there a product that I can use to prevent this?

My 8 year old is very spoiled and I don't know what to do! He throws fits still, in public and private. It is very embarrassing! I stopped taking him to stores because when I don't buy him exactly what he wants he throws one of his fits.
Today, we took him to see his Grandma and got him a toy that he has wanted for a long time. After that, we went out to dinner. He said that this was his best day ever and you could tell that he was having this incredible day!!! Then, he wanted to play some arcade games, we didn't have the $ on us and he threw this major fit. Yelling at us a crying a bunch! He even tried to hit me! Several times!!! He hit his brother and told him that he always hated him and that his brother had ruined his life. We sent him to his romm, when we got home and took away the toy, we'll give it back in 3 days and told him so. I don't know what to do about this one and I would really appreciate any help.

Im 17 years of age. I live with my parents and I do not want to move out. Im a really good kid, I have plans for the future. After I grad I want to become a Cop. (I live in Canada) im just not sure if my parents expect me to move out after I as soon as I graduate. I know alot of my friends still live at home some of them are up to like 20 years of age. Im just not sure if most parents expect there kids to move out right away or what. This had not occured to me untill about a month ago and now im semi freaking out. Because I really do not feel ready to move out yet. Although I still have a hole year left in school. Its still a scary thought

I know I do no sound like most people my age lol. But I really dont want to move out. Im not really into partying/drinking etc. I dont cause trouble I dont see why my parents would want me out they have not even given me a hint they do. Im just sorta freaking out my self

I´m really getting concerned about, is it normal to have this close relationship with a psiquiatry? or do they have a crush? is she really trying to help him or just taking advantage? I don't like the situation... he calls her to get his pills bought, to ask her to extra appointments when he feels depresed (she never says no), and now she invited him to a 3 day weekend yoga and meditation group followed by an extraordinary appointment this week to work his issues, is really necesary?

I was taught not to call 911 unless it is an emergency. A real emergency for example someone is in cardiac arrest, their house is on fire, some one just kicked in the front door type of situtations.
