For the last 7 years, I have had this ball of mucus sitting in my sinuses which cause me a headache and virtually no ability to breathe through my nose.
It is worst in the winter and during rainy weather.
Due to the congestion I breathe through my mouth when sleeping, which wakes me up several times each night, which results in me never getting a good night's sleep.
When I use nasal sprays, even Nasonex, my problem is lessened (although it is still there). When the medicine wears off, the problem is twice as worse, resulting in a severely runny nose, sinus headache and *totally* congested nasal passages.
I am at my wit's end and feel like I should take a drill and put a hole in my head and stick a tube into the offending sinus cavity and suck the damn mucus out. Obviously, I am exagerating, but it is making me lose my mind.
What can I do?
I don't have pets, I don't smoke and taking a hot shower/bath does nothing. This exists year-round and I live in a temperate climate.
