We used to have wild sex 5-6 times a week. Now it's more like once a month. Even then, she specifically requests 'a quickie only'. WTF?

I'm about 20 pounds overweight, admittedly, but I don't think it's that bad. I get a lot of unsolicited/unrequitted attention/advances from other women, but none from her. I travel one or two nights a week on business, but I've always traveled extensively. I'm less stressed by work now than previously.

She's an aspiring actress and goes to classes / rehearsals / ??? one night a week until midnight or much later, which doesn't help matters between us. She also gave up drinking alcohol, eating red meat, watching porn, and a lot of other stuff that used to be fun for us.

interrogations are with the current rules that have to be followed? They burn our flag, yet our interrogators are not allowed to hold their holy book over a toilet, oh and they have the right to be issued their holy book in the first place? And what about that huge photo "scandal"? Sure, I would not like to be photographed in a compromising scene naked, but since when are interrogations supposed to be comfortable? Isn't any information that a member of a terrorist cell have, time sensitive? Do you really think that a member of a terrorist group, who has deep hatred for the U.S., is going to spill his guts in the first 12 hours of capture by being verbally outwitted? I have been wondering about this, so any answers would be appreciated!

Lately, I've noticed that it's become somewhat "impropper" to use any word ending in -man (i.e. chairman, fireman, policeman, etc), but replacing the suffix with -person. Doesn't it get kinda tiresome to add another syllable to the end of a word? And why are people using "him or her" where "him" would suffice? I thought that when one refers to a person (like a child or coworker for example), it's best to use "him". As an example: "Instead of telling your child how to do a math problem, why not step him or her through it?" Doesn't that read harder than, "Instead of telling your child how to do a math problem, why not step him through it?" I think English was fine before those changes came around.

(Yes, there are legit questions in here ;)

It all started with the Army, i got very interested in it and i wanted to join. I told my parents and they said i was crazy, that the Army is nothing but lies, they made me feel guilty by saying i'm gonna leave them and saying i don't care about them. They think if i go, i won't get to see them for years and years. So then i researched other branches, and the Navy came up, i told them about it and they actually let me talk. I told them i'll be on ships and i won't be no soldier. They were still not happy. It has been sometime now, but now i know about the Seabees and i got interested in it. They are pretty much Marines because they back the Marines up, they train with Marines, and are respected like Marines. My parents are now okay with me wanting to join the Navy. But now i'm interested in the Army again. My mom said Navy yes, but Army no way. They are not forcing me not to go, they are just simply telling me if i go Army, they won't be happy and they will be worried all the time. I don't know but there is something about the Army that makes me wanna join. But my parents aren't gonna be happy and everybody thinks i'm crazy! What should i do?? Should i go Seabees instead? I don't think i will regret being a Seabee, but i'm so curious about the Army.

Seabees go to Iraq too, so either way they are both dangerous. What are your favorite things about the Army? And what are the things you hate? Do you think Seabees are cool?

I have two cats; Jabba (male) and Tippy (female). The cats like each other, but every now and then one of them, my husband and I are really sure it is Tippy, goes to the bathroom on the floor. We keep their litter boxes (we have 2 of them) in the bath room. The boxes can be clean and one of them will decide to use the floor. Its not like they are using the floor somewhere else int he house, they have only had 'accidents' in the bathroom, no more than a foot from their box. And we have no idea how to stop this and I'm getting completely fed up with it. They have the best of everything and they get non-stop attention and are spoiled rotten. But about every other week for a few days, sometimes more often, they will poop on the floor. Have had to get rid of all rugs in the bathroom and have cleaned the floor with everything imaginable, including bleach. I would hate to get rid of her, but I think it might end up being that way, unless I can get some uselful advice. PLEASE HELP!!

I would be very interested in providing a good home for your Hostas, Black-eyed Susans, Cannas,etc. At 56 have worked too hard and have not spent enough time 'smelling the roses". About 3 years ago I had reason to slow down and was "bitten" by the gardening bug and have developed a deep passion for it. . I am on a mission to populate my new garden with beautiful plants and flowers without going broke and before a progressive and ultimately disabling neurological illlness makes it difficult if not impossible.

My husband and I get along really well, I have a son he's not his dad but has known my son since he was 3 he's now 13 my son asks to get football scores on the radio in the car sometimes he lets him but if my hubby cant wait 5 minutes he says bad luck it's taking too long if my son answers back and says its ok for you to get yours when you want to my husband says don't chat back or your grounded, so not fair so when I step in there is an argument, my son kicks a baloon in another room but my husband can hear it and tells him to stop, it's not like he's kicking a football inside this sort of thing happends all the time and then there is arguments I might sound like I'm sulking but I don't get flowers or b'day presents from him but he does have good points he takes my son to cricket and knocks off work early to pick him up from school and often cooks dinner I know to take the good with the bad but they are big issues my husband doesnt think we need counceling

I have some clues about it, but not exactly sure.
During mitosis, a parent cell divides into two exactly the same daughter cells, right?
During meisosis, it reduces the chromosome number in half, but the daughter cells are not the same. But why isnt the daughter cells the same?
Since my bio class start with plants, i am unclear on this mitosis and meiosis stuff (and i try to read the chapter about mitosis and meiosis, but got so confused about it...).
